<p>My blog has been very neglected recently. Just before half term my beloved Paddy went missing. We looked everywhere and put up posters over the following 11 days. Just before the end of half term we had the phone call we were all dreading. Someone had found Paddy near to our house...but he wasn't alive. We bought him home and had a little funeral for him in the back garden. We are all so heartbroken, especially Magoo, who adored Paddy. We are glad that we found out what happened to him though, as the not knowing was horrible...

<p>As you can imagine I've been feeling pretty low and haven't felt like crafting much. But more recently I've picked up my yarn and hooks again and found comfort in the repetition of adding stitches to my granny stripe blanket. It really is true that crafting is one of the best therapies - it has helped take my mind off things recently and gives me something to focus on.

<p>I first heard about the 'Just a Card' campaign via Twitter about two years ago. The campaign came about when Artist & Designer Sarah Hamilton saw the quote "If everyone who'd complimented our beautiful gallery had bought 'just a card' we'd still be open" by store keepers who'd recently closed their gallery.
<p>This prompted a call to action! Designer/Makers and independent shops and galleries need a voice. People seldom realise the considerable costs involved in exhibiting at design shows or keeping a shop open. Stand fees, power, materials, wages etc need to be met before even a penny of profit can be realised. Running a shop is often a labour of love. Without dedication and passion, and crucially sales, it would be another boarded up eyesore.
<p>The 'Just a Card' campaign has gone from strength to strength. It brings designers, artists, shop owners and the wider public together to create a truly thriving creative community. Despite the name, the campaign is about more than buying just cards. Every single mug, pin, cushion, print or book you buy from an independent shop or designer makes a huge difference.
<p>To celebrate and build on this success, Just a Card is inviting everyone to participate in JUST A CARD week on 18 - 22 JUNE!
<p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8MAS3bff5y8cNPBzneqQ3kcagtOfF1Nyw65l1d81se3nSnOQogRa2KQ2cejF501yS9lExhU66ZdAjzwczVPAwMpgVPcgbIZswh2E8oNcpV8WE8406Y0o5fEaYLxaM6K4x6RFilLT8epU/s1600/just-a-card-2+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" ><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8MAS3bff5y8cNPBzneqQ3kcagtOfF1Nyw65l1d81se3nSnOQogRa2KQ2cejF501yS9lExhU66ZdAjzwczVPAwMpgVPcgbIZswh2E8oNcpV8WE8406Y0o5fEaYLxaM6K4x6RFilLT8epU/s500/just-a-card-2+copy.jpg" width="500" height="500" data-original-width="960" data-original-height="932" /></a>
<p>JUST A CARD week will include an Instagram challenge, business advice, giveaways and much, much more...
<p><a href="http://www.justacard.org/just-a-card-week">Head over to their website to find out all the details</a>
<p>Everyone passionate about creativity and independents is invited to share their stories on Social Media, and their work places too. People are asked to celebrate the contribution independent shops and creatives make, plus post images of the hundreds of JUST A CARD stickers, encouraging people to support independents, which are popping up in shop windows all around the country.
<p>I used to be a Features Writer for UK Handmade Magazine and have interviewed a number of designer makers. I know how much dedication and hard work goes into running an independent business. We need to celebrate all the people who put so much effort into keeping their creative dreams alive.
<p>I think the JUST A CARD initiative is wonderful and I urge you to join in and spread the word.

<p>Half Term is over and it's back to school and work. The weather has kept us on our toes, beautiful sunshine one minute and torrential downpours the next. I hope you've all had a creative May. Do you have a craft project or two planned for June? If you enjoy sharing your creative life on Instagram, then please feel free to tag as many crafty images with <a href="http://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/craftingismytherapy_june">#craftingismytherapy_june</a> throughout the month.
<p>All crafts more than welcome. At the end of the month, I will choose some of the images that have caught my eye and put together a round-up post over on Instagram and here on my blog. <a href="https://www.instagram.com/meyouandmagoo">You can find my Instagram here</a>. I also share as many of your images in my Insta stories as I can throughout June.

<p>It's the first of March and I'm sat here writing this and watching the snow whirl down outside. All the local schools are shut and we have a red weather warning in place for the South West. It's all a bit of a shock to the system as we're usually starting to feel some Spring warmth creeping in at this time of year. Can't complain though, it all looks very pretty from the comfort of a warm home...
<p>The cold weather means I can stay indoors and get some crafting done. Although I suspect many of you don't need the excuse of a cold-snap to get creative.
<p>February was a busy month for our Instagram hashtag. So many beautiful craft projects in our feed, it is always a real struggle to narrow it down to nine images for the grid. I love being part of this creative community and thank you to everyone who joins in each month.

<p>My poor neglected blog! I haven't posted here for over two months. Having taken on more hours in my job, it is increasingly difficult for me to find time to post here. I am going to try and blog more frequently, over the coming months...

Me, You and Magoohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18377654619731646440noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7920282627136401226.post-53114164081548283992017-11-27T03:24:00.002-08:002017-11-27T03:50:23.213-08:00How to make festive pom pom robinsI wanted to share a step-by-step guide to making these cute pom pom robins.
<br>Perfect for the festive season.
<br>Once you've got the hang of it, you'll want to make loads.
<p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZAcfzbKv9KSoOejLTwotzvukgwpFJC797vvFAm2yQesTPtng2RkV1PSc1MkLU2K78JlIP05RDWNWPwtN7xvAErwFHGtV0Acpw1-3WurDi7IlYJcOCRRIRs6GqGMphHOWoCrIQ7_ePvDU/s1600/IG_square+POM+POM+one.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img alt="tutorial for handmade pom pom robins" border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZAcfzbKv9KSoOejLTwotzvukgwpFJC797vvFAm2yQesTPtng2RkV1PSc1MkLU2K78JlIP05RDWNWPwtN7xvAErwFHGtV0Acpw1-3WurDi7IlYJcOCRRIRs6GqGMphHOWoCrIQ7_ePvDU/s500/IG_square+POM+POM+one.jpg" title="How to make festive pom pom robins" width="500" /></a>
<p>When I was growing up, each year our Christmas decorations were bought out of the loft. <a href="http://www.meyouandmagoo.co.uk/2010/12/vintage-love-christmas-decorations.html">My Mum would display her own handmade pom pom robins in pride of place on the mantlepiece</a>. My Mum's robins are now over forty years old, they still come out every year, but I thought it was about time I made my own set.
<p>They are easy to make once you get the hang of the wool layering. Once you've mastered that, you are set to make a whole family of these super cute pom pom robins.
<p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR1WbVJ6CQAJ6-PTdsHai79Rhcex3TBvGbS-J43aIX0C8CQ9W8sA5kLQ6V2rN3jlGWLKwj2Q2Q4zzKzjEsudzoGdvan-650abKkhJCxYBq2uBiql_RknCdtimLnbUeQrcgYx1plet_RUU/s1600/pom-pom-making-supplies-all.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img alt="supplies needed to make pom pom robins" border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR1WbVJ6CQAJ6-PTdsHai79Rhcex3TBvGbS-J43aIX0C8CQ9W8sA5kLQ6V2rN3jlGWLKwj2Q2Q4zzKzjEsudzoGdvan-650abKkhJCxYBq2uBiql_RknCdtimLnbUeQrcgYx1plet_RUU/s500/pom-pom-making-supplies-all.jpg" title="How to make festive pom pom robins" width="500" /></a>
<p>You will need:
<br>* Wool in red, white and brown
<br>* Cardboard, empty cereal packets are ideal.
<br>* Scissors
<br>* Felt in black and yellow
<br>* Pipecleaners in yellow or white
<br>* Glue
<p>To start with you need to create your cardboard 'doughnut' shapes. I prefer to use the old school method of making pom poms with cardboard hoops. I know there are all sorts of pom pom makers on the market these days. But this is my preferred way of making all my pom poms.
<p>It's up to you how big or small you make the robins. I usually draw round a large mug and for the inner circle use an egg cup or similar. As you wind the wool round, you want the inner circle to be virtually full. This will give you a nice, dense pom pom.
<p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF2ksCiTBsITjPXcCCvPpNMj_9vJM85LAn0E9pKJo8HTbVwi4zUqPRNEuZLCHAbCfkBlEfw-HNvmDRtLWWjreqkZmCd0ptNoU6G-9xAderG1wFclLcLuOgUeQExLU3Ng123pBNSZAPvP0/s1600/pom-pom-making-supplies-yarn.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img alt="brown, red and white yarn" border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF2ksCiTBsITjPXcCCvPpNMj_9vJM85LAn0E9pKJo8HTbVwi4zUqPRNEuZLCHAbCfkBlEfw-HNvmDRtLWWjreqkZmCd0ptNoU6G-9xAderG1wFclLcLuOgUeQExLU3Ng123pBNSZAPvP0/s500/pom-pom-making-supplies-yarn.jpg" title="How to make festive pom pom robins" width="500" /></a>
<p>I usually like to create a few spools of wool in the shades required for these projects. You need to wind them into these narrow cylinder shapes so that you can thread them through the central hole.
<p>Now you can begin to layer up the wool. First start with a layer of red in top section of your cardboard hoop.
I usually wind round at least four or five layers of red.
<p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbiouVxaBjb5dD8I3okVsVPnfNwSRL-ppAjirxPDdOG9zy8x2y045PBHWv8YfYuRL7aW90abQ02zdUvPXN5dDR5cT2JbreOgZWlTezrKvAKxIgPt2p2pRV-uOKnCiu4J96a-NMoONVd8Y/s1600/pom-pom-making-red.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img alt="using old school pom pom making method" border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbiouVxaBjb5dD8I3okVsVPnfNwSRL-ppAjirxPDdOG9zy8x2y045PBHWv8YfYuRL7aW90abQ02zdUvPXN5dDR5cT2JbreOgZWlTezrKvAKxIgPt2p2pRV-uOKnCiu4J96a-NMoONVd8Y/s500/pom-pom-making-red.jpg" title="How to make festive pom pom robins" width="500" /></a>
<p>Now for the white. Tie on your wool to the left of the red section.
<br>You need to build up a layer of white wool to left of the red. Start winding the wool about 1cm away from the red.
<br>Make sure the 1cm section of white wool is the same depth as red wool.
<br>Carry on winding white wool over the top of red section to create a thin layer of white.
<br>Then do the same on right hand side by layering up another 1cm section of white wool to match depth of the red.
<br>See image below to give clearer idea of technique.
<p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8Tj0UUI1Px-glkct0YrTp8I9T5-GKOJCGfXs5Zs4tna2jH0Q1yVF_hwU0w4EqNp9s8MtwlzLsnFz7X4ps0LZWJdPkiQBzzBgndvYBNEhG1rFMz9Ksy-zbBiNUjzpGtjFLFcgyXdDcft8/s1600/pom-pom-making-white.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img alt="layering up wool to create pom pom robins" border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8Tj0UUI1Px-glkct0YrTp8I9T5-GKOJCGfXs5Zs4tna2jH0Q1yVF_hwU0w4EqNp9s8MtwlzLsnFz7X4ps0LZWJdPkiQBzzBgndvYBNEhG1rFMz9Ksy-zbBiNUjzpGtjFLFcgyXdDcft8/s500/pom-pom-making-white.jpg" title="How to make festive pom pom robins" width="500" /></a>
<p>Now you need to start adding the brown wool to the bare section of the hoop at the bottom.
<br>You need to build the brown layer up to match the red and white section.
<p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCEYMg3I4fktFXXT8t8s5VME_9ouM2X05XHXTKQf8A7FFeqwODIgTNkKfSMJ7lAL6DMJH1u5aoJYt-g4A-pHkzFoE0Nz4t1ax8-fcRXxoEV7DmjjEVXAmJmytPv1BBmH1JFThx1V1fRH8/s1600/pom-pom-making-brown.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img alt="layering up brown wool to make pom pom robins" border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCEYMg3I4fktFXXT8t8s5VME_9ouM2X05XHXTKQf8A7FFeqwODIgTNkKfSMJ7lAL6DMJH1u5aoJYt-g4A-pHkzFoE0Nz4t1ax8-fcRXxoEV7DmjjEVXAmJmytPv1BBmH1JFThx1V1fRH8/s500/pom-pom-making-brown.jpg" title="How to make festive pom pom robins" width="500" /></a>
<p>Once you have wound the brown wool round to the same depth, you need to extend the brown wool layer over the top of white section.
<br>If you want a nice fluffy pom pom, keep winding brown wool around until white layer can no longer be seen.
<p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuhZ2roITn0VFCESZlZugtx_yZq-GnKxvWRdB2qbaj3KDXiMNDi-bnSOxY3ZLU9dJJ9kj2qmAUugbDyGtuyHsPlfAK6TXN-r9D15GVkHODlIUv7gaXu701qu8bBft7ABlqCrZHLxYoM9A/s1600/pom-pom-making-brown-2.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img alt="making pom pom robins" border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuhZ2roITn0VFCESZlZugtx_yZq-GnKxvWRdB2qbaj3KDXiMNDi-bnSOxY3ZLU9dJJ9kj2qmAUugbDyGtuyHsPlfAK6TXN-r9D15GVkHODlIUv7gaXu701qu8bBft7ABlqCrZHLxYoM9A/s500/pom-pom-making-brown-2.jpg" title="How to make festive pom pom robins" width="500" /></a>
<p>Once the central hole is nearly full, you can stop layering up the wool.
<br>Now it's time to cut the wool off the cardboard hoops.
<br>This is my favourite part of making pom poms.
<br>Part the wool carefully so that you expose the cardboard beneath.
<br>Carefully slide the scissors between the two cardboard hoops and start cutting the wool.
<p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisUVXfMrtYLifb3erjOYXuBVeKGKJ_HSXeXMpNJ0-rLKap7sLpj0Q4BFc07qpVBMYWrJ6KwbJ9Ezr8FI-KT8_7o7ekJWdCRXYl-I7EGkHddWWTR54HR_X_Nrpc-a-eKpWOxpe4gYC4xYU/s1600/pom-pom-making-cutting-off-1.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img alt="cutting wool to make pom pom robins" border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisUVXfMrtYLifb3erjOYXuBVeKGKJ_HSXeXMpNJ0-rLKap7sLpj0Q4BFc07qpVBMYWrJ6KwbJ9Ezr8FI-KT8_7o7ekJWdCRXYl-I7EGkHddWWTR54HR_X_Nrpc-a-eKpWOxpe4gYC4xYU/s500/pom-pom-making-cutting-off-1.jpg" title="How to make festive pom pom robins" width="500" /></a>
<p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5FVy9Bq7esJ3sx8YTTeH_2X6RblUkGsb9J4hF_SNS-4CDfRHuxDTPze3Jjgx01-eOnEZkAT1GfTXg_yootFtZAkkHv1tRc_ySxC1pbYjOL7IRMGicPHEdSgHgKdEAyVd6cN7I77X9BHU/s1600/pom-pom-making-cutting-off.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img alt="how to make pom poms using cardboard hoops" border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5FVy9Bq7esJ3sx8YTTeH_2X6RblUkGsb9J4hF_SNS-4CDfRHuxDTPze3Jjgx01-eOnEZkAT1GfTXg_yootFtZAkkHv1tRc_ySxC1pbYjOL7IRMGicPHEdSgHgKdEAyVd6cN7I77X9BHU/s500/pom-pom-making-cutting-off.jpg" title="How to make festive pom pom robins" width="500" /></a>
<p>Once you have cut all the way around, don't take the cardboard hoops off. They will help to hold the wool apart for the tying off part.
Take a length of brown wool and wrap it round your pom pom, tie off securely with one or two knots.
<p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEit9HQi4cNLWl428KxfLVx2pXazWI5ZjKhLDtfIOoV2_PZ3Q_ggeKjo1lLy-Vh8FO9w1X4ismoq4Gvvktk7uzdbCi_ffYcpHHoenzP7wDVTNRCDBC0qrbTTAysbAR4wf2dUfY9prtw29e4/s1600/pom-pom-making-tieing-off.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img alt="tying off wool around a pom pom" border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEit9HQi4cNLWl428KxfLVx2pXazWI5ZjKhLDtfIOoV2_PZ3Q_ggeKjo1lLy-Vh8FO9w1X4ismoq4Gvvktk7uzdbCi_ffYcpHHoenzP7wDVTNRCDBC0qrbTTAysbAR4wf2dUfY9prtw29e4/s500/pom-pom-making-tieing-off.jpg" title="How to make festive pom pom robins" width="500" /></a>
<p>Once the pom pom is secured with a length of wool, you can add the pipe cleaner to create its feet.
<br>Wrap the pipe cleaner around and then twist it once to secure.
<br>You want this twisted bit to be located towards the bottom of the red section (see photo).
<br>This means his feet can be created under the red breast section to help it stand up.
<p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRp7gzx45IMc1w57nQK3N2wcmnZ7Glj-1NEuD2PG4lfzq-wE5T27Zw9va3PxSlYU9DKhNn_Jo9HqcyGwgWfprjxDrrgdSEWjRVwwCcCghQQCmaktUVudMhEcoowV2IxDhFKr9pbnpkd5g/s1600/pom-pom-making-pipecleaner.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img alt="adding pipe cleaner legs to pom pom robins" border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRp7gzx45IMc1w57nQK3N2wcmnZ7Glj-1NEuD2PG4lfzq-wE5T27Zw9va3PxSlYU9DKhNn_Jo9HqcyGwgWfprjxDrrgdSEWjRVwwCcCghQQCmaktUVudMhEcoowV2IxDhFKr9pbnpkd5g/s500/pom-pom-making-pipecleaner.jpg" title="How to make festive pom pom robins" width="500" /></a>
<p>Once the pipe cleaner is secured, you can take the cardboard hoops off. You may need to carefully cut them off, but they should slide off.
<br>To finish off the pom pom, you can give it a trim to make a nice round shape.
<br>Bend the pipe cleaner around to create two little feet.

<p>To complete your pom pom robin, cut out a diamond shape in the yellow felt to make the beak.
<br>Then cut out two small circles in the black felt to create their eyes.
<br>Put a small amount of glue on the felt eyes and attach to robin's face.
<br>Fold over the diamond and glue onto the pom pom.
<p>Your pom pom robin is now complete, doesn't it look sweet?

I decided to create an Autumn themed embroidery hoop using Fishbone Stitch to represent falling leaves.
<p>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIWzm839cuUtI8n1i6AzWnWKkXYqML8RiZP667sBYZxs06r36_IK-I9BF_TDLh2sn-Wa5wb5D7dPq3YpYHVzjCgnmXZKmTX6fbz46qFlj4-vfcigV98Qwl66J3PFu33pE2-jk8fDLFtDk/s1600/falling+leaves+IG_blog+post.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img alt="falling autumn leaves created using fishbone stitch" border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIWzm839cuUtI8n1i6AzWnWKkXYqML8RiZP667sBYZxs06r36_IK-I9BF_TDLh2sn-Wa5wb5D7dPq3YpYHVzjCgnmXZKmTX6fbz46qFlj4-vfcigV98Qwl66J3PFu33pE2-jk8fDLFtDk/s500/falling+leaves+IG_blog+post.jpg" title="Create an Autumn themed embroidery hoop using fishbone stitch" width="500" /></a>
<p>
Fishbone Stitch is great for creating leaves or feathers. There are lots of tutorials on the internet, I suggest searching youtube for a video to help give you a visual step-by-step guide. If you've never tried this stitch before, practise on some scrap fabric first. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but once I did...I fell in love with Fishbone Stitch.
<p>
I started this hoop by using pencil to sketch onto linen fabric a number of teardrop shapes. These will make up the falling leaves pattern. When stitching Fishbone, I like to also draw a central line down the middle of the teardrop to help guide me. I find this central line helps me to create a neater shape.
<p>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeEXGk9pHqhVhNZya_4dhAlJt8VnPkQq8wjyE1c1uSeqHbn1k0LV0meqZf5MTaJpbww5deBL_Po1ZcV8OH9VYaCMhg6tX-PnQGHsdyFtoRmzNKB-xb2sfXUU8UcbhF2EPwvlwiPY3cSdw/s1600/falling+leaves+IG_blog+post_2.jpg" imageanchor="1"><img alt="autumn leaves embroidery hoop created using fishbone stitch" border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeEXGk9pHqhVhNZya_4dhAlJt8VnPkQq8wjyE1c1uSeqHbn1k0LV0meqZf5MTaJpbww5deBL_Po1ZcV8OH9VYaCMhg6tX-PnQGHsdyFtoRmzNKB-xb2sfXUU8UcbhF2EPwvlwiPY3cSdw/s500/falling+leaves+IG_blog+post_2.jpg" title="Create an Autumn themed embroidery hoop using fishbone stitch" width="500" /></a>
<p>
I drew 12 teardrop shapes in various sizes, but you could add more or less depending on your hoop size. I then selected a number of threads in Autumnal shades, such as mustard yellow, crimson red, warm orange and russet brown. I could then begin to create the Fishbone Stitch.
<p>

<p>
I found this was the sort of project I could dip into now and again, adding a leaf or two in the evening once my daughter had gone to bed.
Once the Fishbone stage was complete, I added two small backstitches in dark brown thread at the base of each teardrop to create a leaf stalk effect.
<p>

<br />I have been making these little guys since 2009. They have always been one of my bests sellers.

<p><a href="http://www.posca.com/uk">This month we are collaborating with Posca Pens to giveaway a ‘uni-Posca Pastel Packs’, which includes a set of Signo Pastel Ink pens and a pack of Pastel Posca PC-5M pens</a>. These pastel pens are perfect for summer crafting. Posca pens work brilliantly on all sorts of surfaces so you could use them for decorating stones and shells from the beach. Why not try drawing some summery designs on your windows (it washes off!). The Pastel Ink Pens would be perfect for writing those holiday postcards or filling out a holiday journal or scrapbook.
